ABOUT LA HOUSE...
La House de Beauséjour is the foundation for my creations and the roof over my brands. It’s the home of JPB, SOLDIER BRAND and other brands that have yet to come.
It’s where my love for fashion was born, passed on to me at the young age of seven by my parents. It’s an intergenerational maison de couture, in which I sit at the 5th generation.
Most of my ideas are produced inside la House and are influenced by its surroundings and its contents, such as my love for house music, for skateboarding, graffiti and everything that makes the streets what they are. From the grimiest thug to the nicest curbs, every element of the street influences the thought process that goes into its designing.
La House de Beauséjour is a reflection of society, and everyone is welcome.
WHO IS JPB?
JPB is 40 years of experience in fashion. From the streets to the runway, I love fashion in all form and styles. JPB is a trendsetter, a visionary fashion guru. Born into a house of designers, backed by a degree in fashion, JPB is la House de Beauséjour’s most prestigious brand.
JPB is the more mature brand, with a twist of classic and modern. It’s like SOLDIER BRAND getting older. JPB stands for Jean-Philippe Beauséjour and is the man behind the plan.
WHAT IS SOLDIER BRAND?
From rags to riches. It’s from the streets. A grassroots movement grew through concrete. While grinding the ledges, I found my plan. It would be called SOLDIER BRAND.
Merging my passion for skateboarding and fashion, I noticed a missing link in the skate industry in the 90’s; some hip-hop oriented kind of flavour. I hit the streets selling my products as if I was a runner on a pager. Still at it, 40 years later. SLDR BRAND is forever…
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to make the best clothes and best fits available at a fair price. We take pride in manufacturing all of our pieces locally in Montreal, our home base. Over 40 years of fashion experience are gathered in the creation of our pieces.
Fashion is our love, our passion and our mission is to dress you up with that love.
